Hill-tribes’ Mission Aid of India (HMAI) was formed with a few friends in the year 1995 and started sponsoring Bible students. This organization had not been administered properly during seven years. However, the Founder President Rev. John Zohminglien, B.Th., M.Div., and his wife Mrs. Lalhmangai Joute, M.A, M.Div., who had taken most active part in the organization continue to support five Bible students from their own ends till 2002 (up to their graduation).

·         The Mission is a Non-denominational, independent and self-propagated body.

·         The Mission conducted/hosted seminars, leadership training, crusades, camps, etc.

·         The Mission cares orphans and needy children in their education.

·         The Mission runs a shelter home for HIV/AIDS patients (Bethesda Shelter Home).

·         The Mission runs a school at Muolhlum, Rengkai, Churachandpur (Class Prep to Std. III).

·         The Mission runs Micro-finance (LOAN) for local business personnel and members saving with 1.5% interest per month. The profit is used in the ministry.

·         Also involve in Evangelism, Church Planting, Sponsoring Bible Students/Missionaries, Partnership, Affiliation, etc.
